I didn’t set out to be a product designer, but looking back, the path feels clear.
I began my career in higher education as an Assistant Director of Admissions at Elms College, recruiting students, leading marketing efforts, and working on the college website. That early mix of creativity, communication, and technology sparked my interest in design — and ultimately led me to user experience.

I transitioned into e-learning, designing web experiences at Wave Technologies and later at Skillsoft, where I spent over a decade honing my craft. At Skillsoft, I worked directly with engineers to build thoughtful, user-centered features for the Books24x7 platform, improving usability and delivering clean, scalable front-end designs.

My journey continued at Continuum Managed Services, where I stepped into UX leadership. I managed a global design team, collaborated closely with engineering, and led an ethnographic research study that grounded our product strategy in real user needs. That experience deepened my appreciation for the importance of collaboration, communication, and designing with empathy.

Today, at Bitsight, I serve as a Product Design Manager, balancing leadership with individual contribution. I lead cross-functional initiatives, drive research-driven product improvements, and build strong partnerships between product, engineering, and design teams.

Throughout it all, I stay focused on what matters most: understanding people, solving real problems, and designing experiences that make a meaningful difference.
